Breakfast with Ed and Carol. Good start to the day, heading in to town, Main Street, Maple Creek to have a look around.
Firstly the Old Timers museum to find some 'indigenous bead work' necklaces, key fobs, and purses.
And read the local history.
Cow Town Toy store. An unbelievable selection of toys, puzzles, art supplies and old fashioned sweets/candy.
on to the Rectory and meet up with Rev Nancy and Tina, heading off south to Consul.
Maple Creek Rectory
The only wooden working grain elevator left in Canada 🇨🇦 sits adjacent to the rail track. For carting grain across the prairies.
A lovely lunch with the Manly's at the 'Bread and Honey' cafe.

Elkwater Lake at Cypress Hills with Carol Bath
An opportunity to take a wander around the Anglican Church Camp Harding.
The Cabins (aka. the sheds!!) sleep up to 8 people in bunk beds. The camp can take up to 32 children/young adults.
Camp Harding is a place to gather, in the summer!
Bishop Helen had managed to drive a UHaul to collect beds and mattresses to replace and renovate the feel of the place.
