Great chat over supper, what do they study and is it different from our curriculum.

Baseball: Rounders

Soccer: Football

Ice Hockey: Field Hockey

and then we went into the church for bible study and an amazing hour with the young people, most enlightening!

Followed by games in the hall: One Night Ultimate Super Hero, brilliant fun and great across all ages!!!

Stayed with Rev Dean Pinter and his wife Darleen, great host/hostess. Warm and welcoming.

Breakfast: homemade (by Dean) pancakes with Maple Syrup: Scrummy

First pancakes since arriving in Canada!!

Arrived back in Moose Jaw, lunch at Evolve, the lovely locally owned coffee shop. Iced coffee Sara's new favourite drink.

Visit to the  infamous 'Tunnels', Moose Jaw, most 'notorious' city, has three tunnel tours and we went to the 'The Passage to Fortune' which tells the story of early Chinese immigrants to Canada. We became like an Immigrant and follow in their footsteps through Burrows and Sons Laundry, in darkened tunnels under the streets and in the kitchen of Mr. Wong's café.

Then we went 'walkabout' round the city, Crescent Park and their wood carvings, and the Art Gallery.

Every Child Matters Orange Shirt day 30th September:

This day marks a National Opportunity, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. As followers of Christ, we are called to Agape love. Agape love is sacrificial and calls us to action. As you think about the meaning of this day, what loving action will you take going forward?
